Synopsis 

This talent employment educational session has won 22 Awards (including New York City’s 2018 World Film Fair Honor Achievement in Film and Television trophy) from 32 film festival selections in 6 countries on 3 continents including 6 United States. That original Hollywood Actor Jobs workshop was created to supply aspiring performers with a human, audience interactive version of Phillip E. Walker’s Hollywood Grauman's Egyptian Theater released Entry Level Acting in LA 2016 workbook. Having premiered at Chicago’s Black Ensemble Theatre, the in-person work procurement instruction has traveled internationally and made its 25th presentation during 2021. Along with earning 7 International Art and Documentary Film Awards (IADFA) plus a formal REVIEW during that Festival's 2021 inaugural Season, this new online Worldwide accessible “QUESTIONS” introductory instructional video becomes the 3rd short ever to be distributed by Inland Empire Films. A live, online presentation will soon become available that supplies the “ANSWERS” of how anyone can become employed as full-time Hollywood talent, within as little as 3 business days after their Southern California arrival.

Director Bio 

Having won four DIRECTOR Awards during the 2020-21 season alone (including a Hollywood Actor Jobs nod from New York City USA’s Brooklyn International Cinafest) plus being honored as a IADFA 2021 BEST DIRECTOR, Phillip E. Walker-MFA has directed more than 100 live, in-person theatre productions. Personally, becoming employed as full-time Hollywood talent within days of his 2014 Southern California arrival, in PhilE’s first 6 SoCal years he had 1168+ talent gigs including as a naked Co-Star in HBO’s multiple EMMY & GOLDEN GLOBE Awarded Westworld and 534+ Worldwide short film festival on screen appearances as the star in Vahan Bedelian’s CHAPLINESQUE, 62 time award winning one-man-silent-movie WineGame. During the upcoming live “ANSWERS” workshop, Phillip will show online attendees how to do even better than the 144 talent gigs he secured during his first LA LA Land year.

Lead Bio 

Creating the group in 1977 with his celebrated USA San Jose State University Professor Emeritus, Black Theatre Network Founding President wife Dr. Ethel Pitts Walker, Phillip continues as Artistic Director of the African American Drama Company (AADC). Being founded as a Black history traveling theatre troupe, AADC has delivered live performances and in-person workshops internationally plus at least twice in every United State of America. As part of a new AADC tradition of presenting its founder’s “Phillip E. Walker Acting Retrospective Series” in person appearances and short films screenings 7 times in 3 United States, this fine arts organization currently finances the Inland Empire Films streaming film channel’s inaugural year.
